I'm a product designer and design engineer with six years designing financial, government, events, and career platforms across the world.
At SecondSTAX I was the sole designer on a suite of cross-border securities trading platforms, working with ten engineers and two product managers. I built a design system that standardised components across seven products. I designed the KYC onboarding that cut registration time by 40%, and put QA processes in place that brought post-launch errors down by 60%. I also designed the USSD trading flow, which is how MTN Ghana users reach the platform at all. My prototypes and pitch visuals went into the round that raised $1.6M.
Before that I built StubHub's design system from nothing across a $13B ticketing marketplace and led the migration from Sketch to Figma. I led design on the Ghana.GOV mobile app for the Government of Ghana, covering tax payments, subsidies and access to public jobs. At ADPList I was one of the first product designers. The platform had roughly 20,000 mentees then. It has since passed 150,000 across 70 countries.
I also build what I design. With Claude Code I take my own work from Figma through to shipped React and Next.js, which has cut my design-to-prototype turnaround from weeks to hours — four products built in a month, and usefirsthand.app shipped. It means a team gets the design and the front-end from the same person, without the handoff where intent gets lost.
Outside product work I founded the design technology conference, FiDCon. It drew 360 people in 2024 and over 900 in 2025, which makes it Ghana's largest design and innovation conference. I co-founded thedsgnjunkies, the most active design community in the country, and I'm Country Manager for Ghana at the Interaction Design Foundation.
I'm looking for a full-time product design or design engineering role. Fintech is where I'm deepest: KYC, USSD, mobile money, cross-border investment infrastructure. But I'd take a serious look at any team building something people depend on.
